This product is great for light massage to help with pain and soreness after a workout, as well as helping to relieve the symptoms of golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow.  I find it really helpful on for relieving sore tight muscles around the neck and shoulders too.

1 Star: less than 5% – some people complain that their skin gets pinched between the ball and the holder, or that the ball doesn’t roll smoothly.  Reviewers say this can be eliminated by using a drop or two of massage oil on the ball.

PROS

This massager is small but effective.  The ball-in-cup design makes it as easy to use on yourself as on another person.  I’ve found it very helpful for the couple times that my elbow tendons have started to ache.  It’s inexpensive, simple, and portable.  Plus, it makes you feel better, and that’s what we are here for, right?

CONS

This is for light massage.  If you are looking for something that you can really dig deep with, look elsewhere. Also, it claims that you can put it in the freezer to get a cooling massage, but I would be worried about skin damage from that.  You don’t want to numb the skin while massaging it, you can do damage without realizing it.
