Hello , can you help ? I am a awaiting an MRI on my left knee following a sporting injury. The doctor believes I have a meniscus injury, but until the MRI in January I don’t know the extent of the injury. I have been advised to wear a knee support as the knee is very unstable, and often very painful. I am 70 year old, live in Spain, and would appreciate your advice ASAP.
There are several options for a brace that may help you move better and have better stability until your MRI.
An inexpensive but effective choice is a compression knee sleeve like this: https://amzn.to/2EftcPv
This one is a bit more adjustable, which can help keep it in place better and prevent it from sliding down your leg: https://amzn.to/2rsamgg
And finally, this one provides the most support, with actual metal and hinges on the sides of the knee. If your knee is very unstable, this may be your best option: https://amzn.to/2PvlHFK
I hope everything turns out well in the end for you!
